Mounting Versatility
You can mount the S-987-2A vertically or horizontally on bench top or floor. may order the optional caster base for portable use.
Source Capture Versatility
Each system comes standard with:
- Inlet cover with two 2-1/2” diameter, self- supporting articulating extractor arms plus a cap to close off the unused inlet, if only one arm is used.
Arms are made of heavy-duty, chemical, abrasion, and heat resistant polypropylene with flame retardant characteristics. Reach is from 36” to 53”. If you prefer to remove the standard prefabricated hoods, the ends of the arms can be flared up to 3-3/4” in diameter or as small as 2” in diameter. CFM is increased by up to 50% over internally supported arms.

Slotted inlet cover for use as a backdraft/ downdraft pickup.
Slotted inlet cover options include 6” deep full hood, and/or partial hood and two intake-limiting covers (the partial hood may be positioned above, between, or below the covers). Hoods are acrylic; hoods and covers attach with magnets.
